Watermark not available under Mac OS 15,2 Sequoia
I know it is a long shot, but I stayed with my C21 version, as I use mainly Nikon N Studio - and C1 only for final touches (and vector watermarks)
Until Monterey on a Mac Pro 2013 (trashcan), no worries and all went fine.
Now I upgraded to a Mac Studio M2 Max running MacOS 15,2, and the watermarks are no longer applied.
Actually, the export function locates the file correctly, but it doesn't introduce it in the picture anymore.
If anyone is running in the same trouble, please help :-)

Capture One 21 (in its very last release) supports MacOS 10.13 up to MacOS 12.0.1 according to the table here
so there is a fair chance that not everything will work well under MacOS 15.2.
But you never know, someone using that combination may be able to come along here and tell you whether that feature works for them.

Thank you for the reply !
You mean that MacOS 15 is not officially supported yet ?
I gave a try to the latest version's Free Demo - it doesn't work either. But a PNG works, even in C21... although obviously with a lesser quality
Has support for vector files (.eps) been removed for CaptureOne watermarks ?
Thank you,
Cl.

MacOS 15 (up to 15.2) is certainly supported, but not by Capture One 21.

No, of course, i understand that.
But what puzzles me/worries me is that it doesn’t work in the latest version either (free trial)0 -
I don't really use watermarks, but a quick test shows it works for me (macOS Sequoia 15.2, and Capture One 16.5.3).
This shows up on my output. The logo is a PNG. It also shows up on screen, but only if I have recipe proofing turned on.
So if it isn't working for you, we'll have to look for some other cause. Does Capture One have access to the folder where the logo image is stored, in MacOS System Settings?

Weird.
I will try again. Maybe I overlooked the Proofing partYour file was not an EPS, right ?
I can have PNG showing’ even in C1 21 - it is the vector file that is not working .0 -
My image was a raw file, and my logo was a PNG. Sorry, I didn't notice the part about EPS. The guidance here
https://support.captureone.com/hc/en-us/articles/360021063278-Watermark-tool
says "Capture One is compatible with all common graphics and image file formats that support transparency for use as a watermark." so if EPS worked before I would imagine it would work now.
However, I have never used EPS files before. I downloaded a couple of sample EPS files from the internet, and I couldn't drag them into Capture One as a watermark.

Not a good news, but at least our findings are sync’ed now 😉
EPS worked perfectly with C21 on Mac Pro 6.a « trashcan » running Monterey.
No longer on C21 on Mac Studio M2 Max running Sequoia.
So something was lost in transition, it seems…0 -
I found an older User guide article here
I can't paste a link, because for some reason it wanted to submit the post for moderation with the hyperlink. I don't know why the system would think that links to their own site might be spam, even when posted by a moderator!
However, here is a screenshot.
It says "Capture One supports all common image file formats with a transparent background for use as a watermark, such as PSD, PNG, TIFF, GIF. Windows users can also use BMP files, while macOS users can use PDF." No mention of EPS, though. The article was from 3 years ago.

This "little pet" picture, for example, displays the watermark created from an EPS file (generated by Adobe Illustrator)

... and did you insert the EPS directly?

Under Monterey, I could either use the "browse" function to reach the file, OR drag and drop the file in the image box.
That said, thank you for checking the technical requirements, as I have now tried the PDF option, and that works flawlessly.
So a nice workaround - result of your patience and tenacity :-)
Many thanks for your help, I guess I'll have to generate the EPS files into PDF for future use.0 -
I've just tried creating my own EPS version of my logo (created in Affinity Designer). It won't let me use that either (whether by browsing or dragging and dropping).
Pleased to know you've found something that works for you!

I have only ever used transparent PNGs for graphic watermarks. They work flawlessly.

Weird.
Possibly it worked befor, and the EPS was replaced by PDF. Anyway, thanks again for a case well solved !« I have only ever used transparent PNGs for graphic watermarks. They work flawlessly.«
The problem is that you lose precision in the thin lines, or if you have to resize the watermark. Or have a complete collection of different sizes.
That’s why vector files are so nice, because they get converted in pixels only during the export. Before that’ they are « just » that: vectors.0
