.NEF Files Highlight-Weighted Metering "unknown"

As per title, I'm seeing C1 21 is showing the .NEFs  from my D850 using highlight-weighted metering as Metering mode: Unknown.

Is this fixable, or does Highlight-weighted become "known" with a specific C1 version?

    I rarely use that metering mode, but I also find that it shows up as "unknown". (Using a Z6ii just now for a quick test, and on the very latest Capture One version. I have found the same in the past from other Nikon cameras and previous versions of Capture One.) Bit now you've got me wondering about it...

    Further experiment shows that 

    • Nikon's own NX Studio software correctly shows the metering mode (perhaps not surprisingly)
    • Adobe Lightroom Classic shows a blank in the metering mode field in metadata
    • Adobe Photoshop shows "other metering"
    • Adobe Bridge shows the metering mode as "other"
    • Affinity Photo shows the metering mode as "other"
    • MacOS Finder shows the metering mode as "other"
    • Exif Editor shows the metering mode as "other"

    So I think that it is likely that this metering mode is a non-standard one that Nikon's own software can understand but other apps (not only Capture One) can't.
