New Mac Pro not recognising Nikon camera when tethering
Hello - can anyone help? Capture One on my old Mac Pro (2017) recognises my Nikon D810 but my new Mac Pro doesn't. It has on occasion suddenly connected to my camera - but when I try it again - it doesn't. I'm going mad! Help would be appreciated if anyone else has experienced this problem...

Hello,
Here are a few steps you can try to resolve it:
-
Update Capture One and macOS: Ensure both Capture One and your macOS are up to date. Sometimes compatibility issues are resolved in newer versions.
-
Check USB Connections: Make sure your USB cable is properly connected and try using a different USB port on your Mac Pro.
-
Install TetherBoostCore Controller: Some users have found success using the TetherBoostCore Controller from TetherTools, which helps with power issues that might be causing the connection problem.
-
Update Camera Firmware: Ensure your Nikon D810 has the latest firmware installed.
-
Reinstall Capture One: Uninstall and reinstall Capture One to see if that resolves the issue.
