"Capture One App" would like to access data from other apps
Lately I keep getting the message ""Capture One App" would like to access data from other apps". I found a support article on "Allowing Capture One to have full access on macOS" that explains how to give unlimited access to Capture One but no explanation of why I would want to allow Capture One to have full assess to everything on my computer. I understand Capture One needs access to all my image files whether on my computer or on an external drive or online, and to certain support programs like Topaz or DxO PureRaw, but this seems to suggest trusting Capture One with all my programs and data.
Am I understanding this wrong, or how are other's handling this?

Hello,
It sounds like you're concerned about granting Capture One full access to your data on macOS. This permission is often necessary for Capture One to access and manage all your image files, whether they're on your computer, an external drive, or online. It also allows integration with support programs like Topaz or DxO PureRaw.
However, it's understandable to be cautious about granting such extensive access. You might want to review the specific permissions and only grant what's necessary for your workflow.
