I'm not familiar with Canon lenses, but is this a lens designed for full frame cameras, or for APS-C cameras?

Also, in the Lens Correction tool, the profile seems to say "Generic". Is this a lens that Capture One supports? I can't see a 24-50mm listed in the Canon lenses in the profile box. And what happens if you slide the distortion slider to the right? I can't quite make out what it is called in your language, but this one...

    Hi!

Thank you for your response. for this image, it works with the distortion slider. but it's a bit weird... it is a lens for full frame camera. i also can't see a 24-50mm lens, but it's very common and nothin special.

    Any other idea?

Not really. If it's not a supported lens, then you will have to adjust for distortion manually using the sliders.

But I should also have asked whether there is a Manufacturer Profile available in the Profile for this lens.

hm... in the past, is there a possibility that capture one will support the lens? what's your experience with that?

If it's a lens that they don't currently support, you can ask them to support it. If enough users are asking for support of the same lens, they might do it. Is it a fairly newly released model, or one that has been around for a long time?

You can suggest support for lenses here. https://captureone.ideas.aha.io/

Hello Alex. I also believe there is something off with that lens. The black corners indicate that the lens is not designed for full frame cameras. In your camera settings you should find an option probably by the name ''Crop factor''.
    Or

    1. Select [ : Cropping/aspect ratio].
    2. Select an option. Select [Full-frame], [1.6x (crop)], [1:1 (aspect ratio)], [4:3 (aspect ratio)], or [16:9 (aspect ratio)]. ...
    3. Select how the shooting area is displayed. On the screen in step 2, press the. ...
    4. Take the picture. Setting examples.

    Hi Theodore,

thank you for your response. i've set the cropping/aspect ratio to different settings and theres no change. the black corner are there at 24mm, when i zoom in, not.

on the preview of capture one (cr3 or jpg) the corners are not visible.

In Lightroom (which i hate and don't want to use) there are no problems...

I think the Canon RF 24-50/4,5-6,3 IS STM is a lens for full frame.

    Or any recommendation?

    Thanks!

    Alex

I created a support ticket so you can send us the RAW files to check them.
