Mac: Tethering issue with multiple Canon cameras and Sequoia
ImplementedWhen tethering more than one Canon camera on Sequoia, Capture One fails to recognize one of the cameras.
Workarounds:
- Use another operating system, like macOS Sonoma.
- Use cameras from other brands. Fujifilm and Phase One have been confirmed to work.
Update 07/04/2025:
In macOS 15.4, this is at least fixed for Canon R5 and 5D Mark IV.
Update 5/03/2025:
After a conversation with Canon and Apple, we confirmed that this issue resides on the macOS side. We are awaiting a fix in an upcoming macOS update.

JEROME SCHLOMOFF Thanks for your message. The issue described in this post is a known issue that is exclusive to tethering multiple Canon cameras at the same time.
Your described issue looks like you will need to uninstall the Fuji Tethering app, as the focus of the cameras will be redirected to manufacturer apps when those run in the background or have drivers installed. I have created a ticket for you so we can troubleshoot together.0
