  Much the same as the method one would use for whatever Operating system your computer uses.
  
  In addition to the description provided (and note that you can Trash things locally within CO so that they are still recoverable should you change you mind then delete them full later OR you can go for the kill to the usual computer trash folder or a total instant delete) there are usually shortcuts using the keyboard or the "right click" option that will bring up a list of possible action options that, depending on the context, will usually include Delete, as does the drop down menu under the "File" heading.
  
  The next question might be - what are you trying to delete? The original file, an edit (Variant) or something else?
