import shows previous pictures

Sometimes when I import photos from a SD card, the import window shows photos from the previous import.
No matter how often close the window, remove the sd card, put the sd card, or another sd card, back into the slot and try to import, the import window keeps showing the photos from the previous import

I have to close Capture one and start it again before it shows the actual photos in the import window.

Is there another way around the problem?

  In the Import Images dialog, please check the Import From section and check that it is accessing your card.
  
  You could try to change the sequence of actions. For example, open Capture One, insert card, open Import (it may open automatically after insert). Or: open Capture One, open Import, insert card.
  
  You could also manually change the selected folder in the Import From section and change it back to your card to see if that helps.
  
  And, are you sure you erased the previous images from your card, I mean, when not erasing images, new images appear under the previous images, giving the impression you get the previous images again and again.
  
  Just guessing, of course.
