Can Laser light damage the sensor?

    I don't know but suspect that brief exposure to scattered low power lasers could be fine.

    Certainly something that I wouldn't play with in long static exposures.

    Just what I wanted to Know: Avoid beams which are coming straight into your lens (or bounced off a mirror or other reflective surface and then into your lens). The damage potential is much greater when the entire beam power enters the camera lens.

    Don't know about Phase One backs, but the usual sensors are sensitive to laser beams. There are a lot of videos like this one:

    According to the laser class definitions here: .
    That's gonna be a bad idea to use a class 2 laser because it actually can damage your sensors. 😂
