There's more than one way. But here's one: click in the spot removal circle for the one you want to remove, so that the cycle lights up orange, then hit the delete (backspace) key.

Here's another: you can go to the spot removal tool in the tool tab, and you will see a drop down list of spots like 1 of 3, 2 or 3, etc. Select the one you want (it will light up on the image so that you know which it is) then click the Minus button on the tool tab.

this does not work, no drop down list at all, I tried left and right click on the spot removal icon, no effect. When you say "tool tab" that's where you choose the removal tool right (I am using a German version, literally translated this tab is named as "Mouse Pointer Tools")

Try this links and the additional links below the article.

    https://support.captureone.com/hc/en-us/articles/360002608257-The-Spot-Removal-tool-overview

In the Spot Removal tool window the field "Spot" identifies which spot is currently active and how many there are in total.

You can use the arrows next to the number to create a list or the arrows to the right of the field to move backward and forward through the spots in the order they were created.

found out myself... quite difficult to understand the english names when you use a German version. I activate and use the spot removal from the "mouse pointer tools". I have now added spot removal to the "general tools" and there is the drop down menu I was missing.
    Thanks for the effort guys

I mean this tool which on the default workspace you can find on the Details tool tab.

You can also open the whole tool without it being in any menu or any tab.

And of course you can place it into any tab you like and in as many tabs as you wish to have it available.
