Curve tool issue
I shoot sports.
When editing an image I straighten it, crop it, then maybe some levels. I would then use the arrow key to move on to the next image.
However, whenever I use the curve tool it seems to disable the arrow key to allow me to select the next image. I have to go over to the browser and 'manually' select it.
Is this a bug, does anybody else see this?

Mac or Windows?
Version Capture One?
Please note that the next image command is Cmd+right cursor key (Mac) or Ctrl+right cursor key (Windows). See also the Select menu, Next or Previous.
You are free to change these shortcuts.0 -

I'm finding that in version 20 the arrow keys without Cmd also work.

For me it behaves the same in 20 as earlier versions. If I'm clicked into the browser the arrow keys by themselves work to move between images, if I'm not clicked into the browser cmd+arrow keys are necessary. 0 -
Sorry, Mac and it has been happening as long as I can remember, versions 12 and now 20. The arrow keys work fine without Cmd, just on their own as long as I don't make any curve adjustments. Whenever I use the curve tool the arrows stop working to move to the next image. 0 -
On Windows if you are using a "Cursor Tool" like Crop, Rotate - basically anything accessed via that group of options activated by the icons in the middle of the screen above the viewer - the left and right arrow keys continue to move through through the browser which still has "focus" in terms of the active window.
If, however, one selected a tool - levels, curve, etc. - focus is on the last tool selected not the browser and any arrow activity is related to operating the tool until either a browser thumbnail or the viewer area is reselected and thus the currently chosen Cursor Tool is reactivated.
I think it has always been that way in my experience although there is potential for some sort of difference to have been introduced, I suppose, with the changes to accommodate the scrolling tools area.
Also of course some difference appearing between windows an Mac.

I can reproduce it on Windows 10 too. When you create or move a point on a curve, the focus sticks to it and arrow keys will move this around even holding Ctrl key. You can browse images with Alt+Arrow keys (which is assigned to Previous/Next Set but will act as simple Previous/Next when a single image is selected) but even after you've passed to another image the Ctrl+Arrow key does not work anymore. Neither it will move the curve point again if you'll go back to the previous image. The only way to re-activate the shortcut is to click into the image or another image in the browser or on another tools tab. 0
