Moving photos from desktop to notebook then back again
I've done some searching i the forums, but haven't found exactly what I'm looking for. Please excuse me if this question is already in another thread and point me to it.
I am new to Capture One, coming from Lightroom. What I want to do is take some photos in a desktop catalog "on the road with me" while I travel on business, work on them, and then get the updates back into m destop computer. I am using a single catalogue for all my images.
I am looking to replicate what I used to do in Lightroom:
1. Export the images as a catalog (including raw files).
2. Copy exported catalog to notebook comouter.
3. Work on files on the notebook computer.
4. Import the notebook catalog back into the main catalog. This would update the photos on the desktop computer with the changes mafe on the notebook.
The above process worked like a charm.
How would I do this in Capture One?
Thanks.

Probably the same way you did with Lightroom. Have you tried it? 0 -
You could skip the export/import steps.
When it is time to leave, copy your catalog from desktop to notebook. When you come back home, you copy the catalog back to your desktop. This should work for existing images. Make sure you have a backup of your catalog at your desktop in case anything goes wrong.
You do not mention adding new images when traveling.0
