C1 20 IQ improvement
I don't know what they have changed but but the color rendition and noise handling of my low light pictures seems to be drastically better in C1 20
I noticed it immediately when I opened the photos of 2 events I photographed during the weekend.
One of the events was a concert in a church, where the lights always result in an ugly yellow-brownish cast which is very difficult to improve. This time everything looked really well. It is almost as if I used another camera.
I was already several times in the same church, with the same lighting and I used the same camera's (OLY EM1 II and Pen F)
Either it is my imagination or Phase One changed how they auto render the raw files of my camera???

You correctly described what has changed in CO20, after you upgrade the images to the Engine 20, in my experience at least.
Both noise reduction has improved, although the effect may vary from hardly noticeable to very obvious, depending on many circumstances or variables.
Color rendition has also improved and although I do not have the kind of images like you in the church with difficult lighting conditions, I noticed it anyway.0
