Color change when I am processing file out of CI 20 on MAC C
Seem that I am having a problem processing files out of CI 20 on my iMac macOS Catalina.
If I do not apply my LCC I can process the image out and it looks like it does in CI 20.
If I apply the LCC and then process the image I get a neon green cast where the LCC made adjustments.
I have my laptop using and older macOS and it processes the LCC files out fine.
Is CI 20 32 bit or 64 bit?
All suggestion welcome

Capture One is 64 bit, to answer that part of your question.

This LCC is, presumably, a correction file shot at the same time as the file you are correcting and processed in the same version of C1 using the same processing engine? Or are you using a pre-prepared correction file for the lens and settings used?

Hi Grant
I always shoot a new LCC for every shot at the same time. In fact, I shoot 2 or 3 of them just to make sure I have one when I get home. I tested all of my LCC's to see if they do the same thing... and they do.
Thanks,

Here's another twist...
I tested out 2 other jobs. One from another job done in the fall and another one done in 2014.( I upgraded the engine from 8 to 20 with no problem) Both where tested out on my 10 yr old MacBook Pro laptop and exported and then imported into my iMac. I processed them both fine using CI 20. I reset adjustments and edit them and then processed them out to photoshop. I had no problem.
Here's what's the difference with my problem files. I made the mistake of leaving the option carry forward adjustments instead of turn Defaults. When I saw what I did, I reset all my files on the laptop. I edit them and processed them out fine to photoshop. I then had the thought why not export them out to my new iMac. I imported them into the iMac with adjustments and then later cleared out the adjustment to start fresh. Somewhere, the process changed my files so that when I processed them out to photoshop the neon green shows up.
All thoughts are appreciated. Thanks,
Happy New Year!

So the problem only exists on the iMac?
And the files have been reset to base settings and completely re-edited on the iMac?
Did the editing involve any colour adjustments?
Did you recreate the LCC file adjustments on the iMac?
As an experiment, have you tried turning OFF Hardware Acceleration on the iMac? ( I have no idea if it might be a factor BUT it was things that is very likely to be different hardware than the other devices s it would be interesting to know whether or not it is a factor.
Also, if you look at the edit values in the different machines (as the files have been edited separately a I understand your description) are the values of the fields used for the editing more of less the same or significantly different?

Yes the problem only shows up on the iMac.
Yes... I reset everything even the LCCs. I recalibrated the LCC files. I processed them by applying the LCC and then made color adjustments. The neon green showed up.
I then processed them with just the LCC and the neon green showed up.
I then reset the main file and processed it without applying the LCC and the file processed perfectly. (no strange colors)
I did try turning off the Hardware Acceleration in photoshop. I do not know where to do it on the iMAC 2019.
the values of the files on each system are the same.
I did notice something else that leads me to think this is a graphic problem on my iMAC. When I first loaded osMAC Catalina it told me that Color Munki was not compatible. I did not noticed anything when working on other projects in CI 20 so I did nothing. When I first opened these files I noticed the green, red, yellow and blue neon colors all over the files inside CI 20. When I moved CI 20 over to my EIZO cg277 the colors corrected themself. I then changed the drivers on the iMAC to standard RGB and the colors in CI 20 were fine. But the process files were not.
Hope this helps,

Hardware acceleration in Capture One is controlled by a setting in the GENERAL tab of the C1 Preferences.
However if the problem is only in the iMac screen I think you are right - it will probably come down to something to do with the settings for the screen not recognising the settings used for the oupput (Process) files. (Assuming I have correctly followed and understood what you tried so far.)
Not being a Mac person I have little more to offer you I'm afraid. Hopefully a fellow iMac user will be along shortly to offer the benefit of their experience.

Grant,
I did turn off Hardware Acceleration in CI 20 and the file processed out great!
I am sending my files to Digital Transition so they can work on them with Capture One Team. Hopefully they will figure out something so I can use the full power of my computer.
Grant and Ian... Thank you for your help!

I had this same problem in Windows with C1 20 and LCCs. Everything looked great in the viewer and everything looked buggered up on the exports.
I turned hardware acceleration off as well just now and it is working.

I have seen this issue with LCC corrections in the first days after the beta release, I have filed a a bug report and a second one later after it was not addressed, seems it was a waste of time because it is still there. every customer oriented company would have at least issued a kind of technical bulletin with unsolved issues and workarounds after such a rushed release. 0 -

I am having the same issue with images processed out as jpegs, green cast compared to the tiff. Turning off hardware acceleration did not fix the issue for me.
Any updates?
Do you mean after having applied an LCC ?

Hi Saeed,
Did you check your output color spaces ? Reducing (converting) a wide color space image to sRGB or Adobe RGB could lead to color mismatches.

Hi Saeed,
Jpeg 2000 is not very much used actually. Conversely, jpeg is extensively used and I am affraid it won't help you very much if your color issue is solved using jpeg 2000. And I am surprised it is solved using this format, while "standard" jpeg doesn't work for you.0 -

For now I'm just going to deal with the color change or export jpeg files from the .tiff in another software.
It's a pity. I'm sure there is something wrong in your settings. My jpeg are (almost) identical to my tiff, themselves identical to my raw as seen on the Capture One viewer on my display.0
