Custom Tool Tab and Pinned Area

I had assumed that the Pinned Area and Scroll area functionality would work on a custom tool tab, but it doesn't seem to. Is this in the roadmap to be included in upcoming releases? Has anyone else had this work for them, as it does in the other tool tabs?

    I can create a scrollable area in a custom tab.

    In the tool to be moved click on the ... icon and you should see an option to move the tool to whichever area it is not currently in.

    Once a scrollable area exists you should be able to drag and drop tools between areas as you choose.

    I am using Windows but I doubt Mac is different.

    I have no issues with a custom tab. I can add tools to it and move from one area to another. Note that the tools you add come into the pinned area at the top. You have to move any tool you like to have in the scrollable area manually via the ... menu of that tool.
