Cannot process 5d files?

Hi group longtime owner of c1 I am on mac osx 10.11 c1 pro 8.34 did a little job and now I cannot process any files, I have the files selected the recipie selected (100% jpg and tiff) and click process and nothing occurs. I cannot figure out what is going on, I originally had 8.33 and tried trashing the prefs and that allowed me to restart but then c1 crashed and would not work. I downloaded 8.34 and have the same issue of no processing. I can export but that doesn't help a lot.
