delete from disc

I am unable to delete images from disc. The keyboard shortcut and the command under the "image" tab does not do it. I'm on Windows 10.

    Capture One does not allow you to delete an image from disk directly like LR. Instead, it deletes the image from the catalog and puts it in the Trash folder. Then you have to right-click on the Trash folder and select "Empty Catalog Trash". It will then ask you if you want to only delete them from the catalog or delete them from disk as well. If you select the latter, the files will be deleted from disk.
