Best way to obscure a face
For journalistic use, you sometimes have to blur out a person's face. What's the best way to do this in 9.1? All the tools, naturally, seem intended to improve an image rather than obscure it. I suppose I could clone in a patch of sky, skin or concrete, but that's pretty inelegant.

I don't think that there is such a thing in C1. I'd suggest it's one of those things that C1 isn't really designed for and might be best done with other software, such as a pixelate filter in Affinity Photo, or Photoshop, etc.

while it may not be the primary function for CO, i'd create a layer, paint over the face and blur it, or change colour, or saturation, or all of them, including heavy noise reduction, heavy negative clarity, CA removal.
Then, have a look whether the face is still recognizable.0 -
I ended up using http://www.facepixelizer.com/ . JPEG in, "censored.jpeg" out. In manual mode you can indicate the region to be blurred or pixelated. 0
