Custom Tethered Naming

Is there a way to import a list into capture one and have it use the items in the list for file naming?

I shoot microscope slides through capture one (Mac) and alternate between two different illuminations for the same sample.

A typical list (which I can create in my database) would looks something like
"AAA-001ppl" "AAA-001xpl" "AAA-002ppl" "AAA-002xpl" ......

Any help would be appreciated.

    Possibly could fall into the domain of scripting. I could see this being handled quiet elegantly via Excel...
