Advanced Search Settings (PC Windows 7)
I've been in the trail period of capture one pro 8. So far I love the program and have figured out a good workflow for everything I used to do in Lightroom. But there is something I cannot figure out. I have been conversing with technical support for the whole trail and still have not been given a straight answer and my trail is almost up...
Can someone PLEASE explain if it is possible to search 10+ image file names in a catalog or session using the advanced search? "_DSC4647, _DSC4681, _DSC4652, etc"... If so how do you configure the advanced search to do so. In lightroom, I can simply place that information in the finder field and it will come up usually when the folder is selected.
This is a very important part of my workflow. Some of my clients receive a contact sheet or a web gallery to select the files to be processed or for their editors to process. For me to individually search say 100 filenames out of 500+ images in a shoot is quite tedious and don't really see the point in going back and forth between Capture One and Lightroom.
Thanks in advance for your time and hope someone can help me out with this as soon as possible.

With All Images selected, I cut and paste a series of comma separated file numbers into the filters search bar, then click on the triple dot icon at the right side of the search bar, which allows me to create either an album or smart album from the selected files.
Thanks for your response... I have configured everything this way several times yet it still doesn't pull up my images. This is why I have been getting so frustrated with the program. This set up to me is common sense yet I can't seem to get it to work.
