Renaming Variants

    Hi,

    All variants of a single image file have the same name. That is part of the concept. The name refers to the physical file on your disk.

    Each thumbnail you see is a variant. You normally start with one variant for your image file. Next, you can create a new variant (without earlier adjustments) or clone it (with earlier adjustments included). Further, there are no differences.

    Now about renaming on processing. With CO8 you have a huge array of possibilities for renaming on output. Either in the process recipe or the Output Naming tool on the Output tool tab. The magic comes from the use of tokens.
