    Do you mean the naming format for the folders of the session?

    Or something else?

    By "Preset" are you referring to the Session Template option?

    Are you asking about the Session Name format <any-string acceptable as a file-or-folder-name> or about the default Session Name "Untitled Session"? As far as I know, the session database file initially inherits the session name and some characters may not fit well. If I remember correctly, you can rename the session in C1 and keep the name of the session database file, but you may want to check the details.

    I sometimes prefer to create a new session with a name similar to an existing session. With a session already open, I do
    File->New Session...
    and then click the three-dot button at the right side of the
    Location
    field in the New Session dialog.

    My Windows operating system pops up its file navigation dialog pre-navigated to Location folder. I can see all session folders in that location folder. For me, those folder names are also my session names. I have no intention of changing Location, but I select an existing session folder and copy the session folder name to the clipboard (Ctrl+C in windows). I then Cancel the Location dialog, which returns me to the New Session dialog in C1. I paste the selected session folder name in the Name field, modify it to name my new session and click
    Ok
    It is way quicker to do than to describe 😉
