Help with tethering images seem slow to load

I have a Dell XPS 15" with pretty goods specs and I am using a Fuji XT2 camera shooting JPEG (to test) and the images seem rather slow to load to what I have seen other people experience, I am wondering if I have a setting wrong or something?
Does the make of the cable make a difference, its not tether tools? I am pretty sure I am using USB3!! to my laptop. Each images was taking around 2-3 seconds to load. thanks in advance
