Barcode Scanner Recommends

I hope this qualifies as workflow topic. Been using the Symbol L4208 on a Mac ... works okay. The scanner is a little picky with scan angle and reading faded SKUs, but it won't do screens and 2D (QR codes). What's everyone's favorite or recommended unit?

  I am using a Unitech MS330-1 USB scanner.  Works fine once you program it to have a preamble/postamble.
