Color shift
When changing the engine 12-> 13 (20) the profile DNG Workspace take plase color shift and the picture cannot be returned back to 12. If you make a copy f8 and change the engine in copy, the color remains as in the original.

If you first create a CLONE variant of a V12 image it will keep the V12 processing engine.
Then you can compared the differences.
For example has the Base Characteristics Tool's ICC profile changed?
If that is the case then changing a V20 ICC profile back to the same as V12 may set the the same colour rendition.
Note there have been some changes in DNG processing to improve colour handling and it may simply be that you are seeing the benefits of that. Or a problem.
If you thingk you have a problem you need to report to the C1 Technical Team this forum is not the place for that.
Go to the Support pages and use the "Submit a Request" option usually found at the top right of the page.

In the Base Characteristics tool, look for what the Curve field selects. The new default is 'DNG Standard', which triggers the new DNG color rendition in CO20. The old default is Film Standard.
You might give it a look and try one or the other.0
