What is Stack variants ?

Hello, I use (as much) variants, but why can not we stack the variants in a intellegent album. It's mishandling of me or just this function does not exist? in the catalog, Smart Albums are not working in a project ?

    Although I do not have CO10 available here, in CO12 the ability to stack variants depends on the kind of collection you view. And for a Smart Album this option to stack is missing.

    Smart Albums are working in a Project. But you should realise that a Project is a search boundary. Create an Album (or more) in the Project first and populate it with images. Next, any Smart Albums inside this Project will search the Albums.

    If you do not need the search boundary of a Project, use a Group instead.
