How Much Hard Drive Space?
I'm about to set up Capture One for the first time with my former Aperture library, which lives on a permanently=mounted external hard drive.
The library is almost 4 TB, so it does need its only drive.
But of course everything else runs on my internal main drive in my iMac, which is an SSD drive with MUCH less free space.
Even though my image library is on an external drive, will Capture One take up a lot of the space on my internal drive? Or will that be really minimal?
Thanks for any help!

The Capture One application will take up about 10GB of space. If you locate your catalog on the internal drive, that will increase as the number of images is added (even if they are on the external) as the previews and database will grow in size. 0 -
Thanks for the info. (Did you mean 10 GB or MB for the application?) 0
