New monitor, bad efficiency
Hi,
I ve just changed monitor for higher resolution (2560X1400, before was 1680 x 1050). Efficiency is so bad now. Processor activity is on highest level. Focus preview takes lots of time. What should I change in my desktop to make it smooth. For now I have i7 2600, GTX 660TI, SSD, WIN

In Preferences, have you changed the preview resolution to match your new monitor? For a 2560x1440 monitor, you need to set it to 2560, and C1 will need to regenerate the previews.

Well you have to keep in mind that you're working on a technology based in 2011/2012, which will somewhat limit your performance anyway and you have effectively doubled your resolution and you have not told us how much RAM you are using.
I assume that due to the higher resolution you're also able to display more images in the Capture One browser panel and focus preview has to deal with twice the amount of pixels than before.
Depending on your RAM and the whole capability of the system that will take its toll.
As Ian said, try to regenerate your previews - but also share more detail about your system and what kind of photos you're working with (RAW, TIFF, resolution,...).0
