I use Windows and know very little about Mac, but when I right click on thumbnail, Capture One presents a menu where I can pick "Show in Explorer" and see the raw file and the file location on disk. As far as I can tell, this works for sessions and for catalogs.

    Did I understand correctly that.
    a) you exported collection as catalog on PC.
    b) saved it on harddrive
    c) imported collection on mac, or just opened it?
    d) unplugged usb hardrive
    e) There was not indication of import of a collection on mac?

    Sorry if I missed something?

    Hi ok so
I made a album / collection of images in C1

I exported the album as a catalogue from my macbook pro, I made sure to tick "include originals"

I imported the album on my desktop mac pro, to my existing C1 catalogue

Pictures all show up fine, I have been editing the album

The problem is that the option to locate the original images is not showing and I cannot find any images via the finder in mac.

When you export a catalogue, the actual catalogue file, is it capable of holding the images within it?

This is true only for MAC. Still show package folder releveals that is just a special folder with catalog file in it and Originals and Cache folders.
On PC actually catalog is a folder Originals and Cache folders. and cotalog file, which you need to copy along with files.
I.e on mac you can move that magic folder, but on PC you must move whole folder that contains catalog file.

    Hope that helps
