Metadata issues

Hi there,
Using a PC (Surface Book()
I've got some Meta Data questions that I'm hoping someone has some answers for:
A) Can an existing IPTC Scene have it's name changed?
B) Can an existing IPTC Scene be cleared out of a group of images?
C) Can an existing IPTC Scene be deleted easily across a multitude of images?

Over the past year I've created a bunch of scenes, and the list has gotten too cumbersome. I'd like to reduce them down. I've noticed that multiple scenes can be added to an image, unlike many of the other fields. This has created problems for me. Operator error for sure; but I'd love to find a solution.

Furthermore - I've populated a lot of "locations" in that field; but it doesn't appear to be filterable.

  Have you checked the additional filter fields that can be activated?
  
  If so have you tested what "Image Location" can provide as a filter?

  Grant - I'll check into it.
  Let me ask: when you say "activated", are you referring to the other fields available under the metadata tool? I have begun to test them.

  I you click the 3 dots at the top right of the tool menu bar there is a sub menu.
  
  One option is Show/Hide filters.
  
  If that is what you are looking at - you are in the right place.
  
  If not, try it. Tick the boxes to make the field an active filter - or untick to de-activate!
  
  There is always the possibility that some selections may not work as expected .... that's software ... but it must be worth spending a few second experimenting!
  
  I am assuming, based on where the field appears in the IPTC sections, that "Location" and "Image Location" are the same field.
  
  If things don't work as expected - create a Support Case and report the problem.
