Import Problems
I have watched several webinars about importing into Capture One but I'm still having troubles.
My photos are organized in files in Finder (I'm on a Mac) and they import just fine into LR, but not C-1 v9
I'm importing folders from the main HD and leaving them in their existing location. Here is a sample of the folders:
Mac-Pictures-My Photos
Then they are listed by year then subject:
2000
2000 Cats-Dogs
2000 Glacier NP
2000 Hill AFB
2001 (There are more folders in each year, this is just an example)
2001 Montana Family
2001 Sunrise
When I follow the webinars for importing I make sure I have the box checked to include sub folders. But when importing I do not get the year folder, only the sub folders. Since I do not have the year folders, all the sub folders are in one big list and not separated by the year.
Hope this makes some sense. What am I doing wrong. I'd like the folder structure to be as it is in Finder and LR.
All suggestions are welcomed.
Sue

You need to import whole "My Photos" to get hierachy of year subfolders.
