Auto Importing from a Watched Folder

I am wondering if this is possible with Capture One Pro 8 or 9. I use this feature in Lightroom to shoot with Canon cameras controlled by EOS Utility. I have EOS Utility capture to folder called Auto Import. Lightroom watches this folder and when a RAW file shows up it transfers that file to any designated folder from which is opens the file in Lightroom for processing. This way you have complete camera control, Live View ....

Is there a similar workflow for Capture One Pro?

  Not on it but from memory you can access the Library pane and find your folder that you want to "watch". Right click and set it as the capture folder. That's it.
  
  Oh and you have to make sure that Capture doesn't try and connect with your camera so turn off support for it in preferences - not sure if there is an easier way.

  I do suggest to get rid of EOS utility, and control camera directly from C1. It will greatly simplify your workflow.
  Or is any specific reason why you are using EOS Utility?
