I have a photo of our street and want to block/smudge out my neighbours car registration number.

How can I do it please?

    Thanks
    Simon.

Not with Capture One. You can use Photoshop or any similar graphics app.

    Thanks John,

Didn't think so but needed to ask 😊

You may not be able to "smudge" it out but I'm sure you can hide it by creating a layer mask on the license plate and setting some extreme exposure/levels/curves settings.

Or close or heal something over top of the plate number.

Yes, I suppose you create a layer and clone or heal it.

However, I've exported it and dropped it into PS.

The bad new is I'm new to C1 and want to get rid of Adobe and issues like this make it harder to dump it! 😊

Yeah, Capture One is not a replacement for Photoshop.

Quite a few users here use Affinity Photo as a Photoshop substitute when needed. (That's what I would use if I had to do the same task.)
