"Auto Advance" when rating images.
Hi,
I'm switching from LR to CaptureOne.
In LR you can enable "auto advance" when rating images. The software then automaticaly jumps to the next image from the moment an image is rated. A feature I do not find in CaptureOne.
Any thoughts how to create this beahavior in Capture One?
Thanks!

There is no built-in method. But you could create a smart album for unrated images (or filter for unrated ones). Then as you rate each one it would disappear from view and you would be on the next one.

It's interesting how we all like the familiarity of what we have become used to.
I much prefer to decide when I want to move to the next image not have the software do it for me. Especially if I am applying more than one rating or similar at the same time. Automatically moving to the next image would be a frustration for me.
On those few occasions when I do undertake large scale initial selections or re-selections image by image I use filter approach that Ian3 has described.
An alternative might be to use the sort order of the browser thus keeping the image in the working group but repositioning it. There are probably a lot of different approaches that would work best in specific circumstances for different needs.

Thanks Ian3. I'll Try 0 -
You could find a macro program to do this, or if you're on a mac make your own macros with applescript and assign them to hot keys.
I've done things like this in the past, like if I hit a hot key a file will get a green tag and be processed out to a jpg.
Then I might have a program watching that folder pick up the file and print it.0 -
Now with C1 version 20 there is an option to do this.

David, do you know where that option? I can't find it in C1 v20.

Maybe the feature called "Select next when" works for you.
