Select Next When . . .

Works here. Have you enabled either of both options (rating or tagging) in the Select menu? 0 -
Works for me as well.
However only if using the keyboard short cuts. I think that makes sense since it leaves an instantly available option for breaking the rule for an individual image.

Good point. Through shortcuts or the Adjustments menu.0 -
OK, call off the hounds.
It does indeed work for me with keystroke shortcuts. Perhaps the user guide should mention this. Also that, for people like me with compact keyboards, the default keypad shortcut can be changed. I only need keep and delete, so I configured the End key (next to my delete key) to apply one star.
Now I hit Delete or End to reject or keep each image and automatically proceed to the next image.

When I use select next it will random skip two images ahead after a rating. Anyone have any ideas?

Hi Paul,
I have recently seen this. Have been investigating today.
It's not a feature I use often so I may not have notice it before even if it existed prior to, say, they 13.1 release.
Previously I though it always happened although I had seen some situations where the First image processes seemed to work OK.
The scenario I had used was a selected subset of images in a session filter by selecting rating value 2 and 3 using a filter and then changing one of the selected images to, for example, rating 1 so that it would be deselected by the filter.
No filter and the was no problem.
Looking in more detail today it seems that that it only happens on my machine if I have a Smart Album selected (including any album set up when importing images as an import set (and thus a "Session Album") and then only if the images has multiple edit variants that are "Expanded" at the time.
Today I way using the Colour tag change approach for testing rather than Rating.
Also without Importing the files but using Sessions and folder that have been edited already in a different session.
So yes I have seen the problem. But the circumstances of the anomaly may be quite specific.
I did report it (recently) but concluded at the time that it might be something related to my system and Windows 7 since no one else seems to have mentioned it in the forum.
On the basis that it was unlikely to be investigate and fixed in a V20 release with V21 approaching I decided to wait to discover what the future may offer.
However, after making some more tests today and then seeing your post on the forum I think it is time to resurrect my "Request" and it would be good if you could do the same and confirm whether you only see the issue in the same circumstances - I.E. when working with a filter selection based Smart Album and changing a rating or colour tag to a value that is outside the album's discovery criteria AND only when the image has multiple edit variants of some sort.
It what actually happens looks quite obvious at first sight but today I decided that what I could see happening required some specific situations that I had sort of considered before but has not seemed necessary in those examples. Today I ended up with different conclusions.
Another person's observation is required!

I found another note after I posted describing the same behavior and the poster said that someone from C1 said it was a bug so hopefully it will be fixed in 21. I have seen it happen with images uploaded to my catalog and with images shot to a session. Very annoying when a client is rating a fashion shoot!
