Automatic Sync settings between photos
Hello,
is there a way to apply an adjustement to all selected photos? I don't want copy and past adjustement. I would like to edit a value (e.g. "contrast") and to see this edit applied to all selected photos (as auto sync in Lightroom).
Thanks

There is not a way to do exactly that. But you can copy and apply an adjustment of that kind very quickly - you don't have to do it one image at a time. Say you select 20 images. One of them is the "Primary variant" - that is the one that has the wide white border in the viewer. If you were to adjust the contrast say to + 15 on that one, you can then copy it to all the others in one go. You hold Shift and click on the little double-headed arrow in the exposure tool. That will copy the adjustment to all the other 19 at once. (If you wanted to copy just the contrast adjustment, and perhaps not other adjustments in the same tool, such as brightness, you could click on the double-headed arrow without holding shift. That brings up a dialog box where you can select which ones to copy, and then hit apply to apply them to the 19.) So it's not auto sync, but it's pretty quick and easy.

In C1 you do this by making the changes you want to make to one image and then apply them to the others using the clipboard.
Exceptions are rating and colours since they are single actions and no image calculations to perform.
The idea of making lots of little changes to a large number of in real time is interesting. Ok for thumbnail impressions I suppose but not so good when computing from the RAW file upwards if each of the files is 50 or 100 Mb and you have selected several hundred, for example.
Best to do that in a batch in the background perhaps?

Thank you. I can copy by clicking and the double arrows and the select only "contrast".
How to past them? I can select the target image and then go to the double arrow and click "apply" but nothing is applied.0 -
This works for me:
(A) do all the stuff you want to do to the first image (maybe contrast and saturation)
(B) Select all the other images you want to do as well (making sure that the first one is still the primary one)
(C) Hit the double arrow, select the check boxes you want, and just go straight for apply.
If it does something unexpected, the undo button is your friend! But you could try it on just a handful of images first.
