(Newbie) Changing interface colors
Hi, still testing C1 and have good results developing my pictures. BUT, the interface colors are horrible, is there any way to change them in lighter and easier for the eye colors like it is in adobe software ? At the moment it helps a bit working in the viewer only, that minimizes the distracting high contrast ui.

If you mean changing the color of the tool menus and palettes then I do not think there is a way to change this. You can change the background gray scale in the preferences menu.
The black color scheme of the UI does not bother me all that much but it would certainly be nice to be able to change it.
More importantly I think there needs to be a way to change the font size within the UI. On a 27" iMac at full resolution I have to lean in towards the monitor to read the tool bar and menu text.
So if the Phase One team looks at these forums, and I think they do, then some options for UI color and font size would be appreciated. I have heard others suggest scalable fonts, even in some high end reviews.0 -

George,
If you want to make an official suggestion for something you think of as an enhancement Phase are very happy to listen.
The way to do that is to create a Support Request and start the title with a phrase like "Enhancement Request" . This in the description tell them what you would like and where you hope that would offer benefits. Do not assume that the benefits you expect are obvious to everyone. There may be something that you think is obvious about your requirement, no matter how simple the requirement seems to be, that is not immediately understood in the mind of the reader when they read the description.
The reason for using the Support System is that all of the suggestions will be clearly managed within the business processes and the level of interest in each suggestion can be assessed according to how many people ask for it.
Obviously the numbers asking (hopefully with a genuine interests rather than a "Yeah, me too in case I ever get a huge screen" attitude) will influence the likelihood of resource being allocated - assuming that such a request can be technically supported by the development tools employed. Etc.
HTH.
