    No it is not. You can have multiple variants so you can have one version B&W, one colour and others of various aspect rations but only one is the primary and they all get added to all the various albums.

    This is a feature I would really like. I have logged a support case which started out as a question just like yours and turned into a feature request. If you want something like that too please log a support case asking for it. The more of us that do that the more likely that we will see that happen some day. 😊

    Yes. You need to use Smart Albums for this. Multiple variants of a single image file are always stored together in regular collections and Albums. Only in Smart Albums you can separate them based on a defined differentiator, for example a keyword or a color tag.
