    Hey guys,

I'd like to save the original filename of an image into it's Exif data. Basically, what I'd like to achieve is: Sometimes I'd like to identify the original (RAW) file of an image that I've uploaded to Flickr or other image services, sometimes a long time ago. The upload filename is often lost after an upload, but the Exif data are still there. With the filename, I could search my archives very efficiently for that file.

Is there an easy method to automatically safe the filename into the Exif data using Capture One? Or is there other software that would do the job, e.g. through COs ability to sync with XMP sidecar files? (The software should be compatible with Mac. I also have Adobe Photoshop/Bridge CS6.)

    Thanks and best regards,
    Johannes

I'm not sure if this helps at all but here is a recent thread on what seems to be much the same subject.

Thanks, yes, that's what I'm looking for! Unfortunately there's no solution yet. 😉
