Importing a Session into a Catalogue

When importing a finished Session into a Catalogue it also drags into the Catalogue many other files not specifically in that Session but are on the same drive, and I am wondering what I am doing wrong.

    What procedure are you using to import the session? Does the session itself have extra folders that you have added as session favourites?

    Also an alternative to importing the session as such is to import some of its folders. I generally import images from "finished" sessions into my catalog. But I don't use the Import Session feature. Instead I import specific folders - usually the Selects folder and sometimes the Output older. I don't particularly want the Capture folder - if the images in it were keepers, they would have moved to Selects. (I don't actually delete the session so I could always go back to the session and get images from the Capture folder if I wanted to.) And I don't want to import the Trash folder.
