    So it's a Photoshop problem?

No, I would tend for an integration problem.

It worked flawlessly between C1/12 and PS CS6 on the very same machine, same OS.
And since the upgrade to C1/20, it is a bit erratic.

Perhaps the scripting has been changed (or should be) ?

In case the script has changed, which I am not sure of, you could copy the CO12 script to the CO20 scripts folder and try again.

    I could definitely try that.
Are the scripts embedded in the software, or in the separate script folder ?

The scripts are in your user Library/Scripts/Capture One Scripts folder. I can only find one CO Scripts folder, and the only PS script I see is "Stitch with Photoshop 7", which is obviously pretty old.

    Hmm, that sounds interesting.

I have two subfolders in the ~Library/Scripts/Capture One Scripts folder (that one can open also via menu Scripts > Open Script Folder):

    • Background Scripts

    • Disabled Scripts

Both of them are empty ...
Which triggers "just another" question: if both are empty, how does it perform the stitching (even if after 5 retries ?)

The scripts that come with Capture One are inside the Capture One application folder. To open the application folder, right-click on it and choose 'Show Package Contents'.

    The path is Contents/Resources/Scripts.

    Thank you, Paul.

Can I delete the previous one then ?
Is it coming from C1/12 ?

I am afraid I do not understand your questions. I thought the idea was to copy the CO12 script to CO20 and try again.

Alternatively and maybe better, you can copy and rename the CO12 script and copy it to the user's script folder that Capture One also enumerates.

The user's Scripts folder for Capture One is:
    ~/Library/Scripts/Capture One Scripts
Start Capture One again after you copied the script.

Oh well, I think we are headed in confusion here.

To install C1/20, was told told by Support to fully remove C1/12, especially the libraries.

we advise to keep only one Capture One version on your system, as multiple copies could interfere with each other and cause issues.

Therefore, in order to make sure Capture One is working properly, I would kindly ask you to remove all Capture One versions and delete the libraries (make some backups of your settings/folders at this point if needed) as shown in the guide below, restart your machine and install Capture One 20 again:

So ... little problem - where can I find the script of C1/12, as I don't have the app' anymore ?

Sorry for the mess - looks like parallel strategies are happening...

You can, of course, install CO12, get the script and remove it.
