Is it possible to copy the layer and then to invert it ?

I wonder - if I make a mask layer on some object (and add adjustments), is it somehow possible to copy that layer as a new layer and to invert it ? (so that I don't have to draw the mask again for the surroundings that I want to treat in another way). Cannot find this option.

    Yes you create a layer, then click on the ... button and choose "Copy mask from..." the existing layer of your choice, then right click the layer and choose Invert mask.

    Oh yes, thank you ... I was trying to copy the first layer instead of creating the new one and then copy another layer there 😊
