Tethering

I shoot with C1 tethered for headshots (windows). I notice that when I begin to shoot in rapid succession one shot per second for about 6-8 shots, then review shots, then another 6-8 shots etc, load time onto my computer is reasonable. However, after 300-400 shots in a catalog, the load time is ridiculously slow. Has anyone else found this to be true and is there a solution?

  I assume you are using Catalog rather than sessions?
  
  What are your computer specs? Sounds like you might need more RAM. Also what would help in the meantime is splitting the job into sub folders. I try to keep it to under 200 photos per folder, and organize the shoots in Shot01, Shot02, etc folder structure.
