Photo - copy adjustments (ok), opening another photo, want to apply adjustment, but this option is inactive ...
    ...

I guess that no adjustment is selected to be applied, and therefore paste is disabled. Try the solution from here: viewtopic.php?f=72&t=27622#p130967

Nothing unfolds- I cannot choose from any source:

It only lists folders you have previously chosen to import from. So simply choose a folder.

A lot of things changed because of the more layer based WOW. With a little change of habits it works just fine.

How can I choose a folder when no choice is given ? Import from - and there is nothing to click to - to initiate the folder selection, it remains as shown on the screenshot

Take a closer look at this Finder window.

You probably don't understand my point and problem: the same choice that unfolds in the destination dialogue does NOT unfold in the FROM dialogue:

Only this is here and nothing to click at !!! (choose folder). When clicking on the blue "choose folder" nothing happens

    As said above:

So if there was no earlier import, to choose a folder is your only choice.
The "Import To" dialog is different. It always offers you the standard target folders on initial use.

It shouldn't take so long to open that Finder window, but that's where you choose the folder to import from and confirm with 'Open'.

Choose Folder should open up the File System explorer.

What you are seeing suggests that there is something wrong in the setup after installation.

I'm not a Mac user so have no idea what the problem might be but it sounds like you might be best advised to try a reinstallation - probably uninstalling what you already have first.

Be sure to follow the installation instructions fully.

You could also try re-booting the system if you have not already done that.

If re-installation fails create a Support Case and get the Capture One help team to assist in finding out what is happening.

    HTH.

Am I right that in the previous version in IMPORT TO there was an option "keep in the original folder" ? Now it is not there ...

You can choose "Current location" in v10, yes.

    Fixed in V11.0.1.

There's a difference between catalog and session imports.

Import to 'Current Location' is a catalog option.

The image above shows session targets like 'Session Folder'.

Well you simply open (or create) a catalog. I suggest you watch a Phase One webinar about basic organizational principles of Capture One, on their YouTube channel. Very informative.
