Do I need a power hub for MacBook Pro with USB-C?

That's a bit of a misconception. USB-C can recieve power from an external source and therefore you can often use it to power/charge a device. But that does not mean that every device that has a USB-C port can power another device with 100W.

If a MacBook were to deliver 100W to any device plugged into the USB-C port the batteries would run dry in a very short time and the heat produced would be considerable!

So most likely you'd need a hub if you worry about power constrictions.

However you should keep in mind that the recommended length of a USB 3 cable is a lot shorter than the recommended length of a USB2 cable. So even if more power is transmitted that odes not mean signal degredation will be eliminated.

If MacBook Pro with USB-C can power enough to the camera directly, do I need to get a power hub? Tetherbooster seems to be useless with USB-C I think. If I still need a power hub for tethering, any reasons why?

The MBP/Camera power negotiations can be unreliable. If you have the option, going with a powered hub is going to be more reliable in terms of power delivery, as well as battery life on the MBP.
