Not able to drag and drop between virtual folders
After upgrading to 20 I'm no longer able to drag and drop images into virtual folders/user collections.
It's really p* me off.
Anyone else experiencing this?

I have seen this on Mac since CO20. I have not tried on Windows yet.
Are you using a catalog or a session? And do you mean dragging between different catalog/session or within the same?0 -
Im definitely experiencing it. It takes me about 10 times of trying to drop an image into a user collection for it to actually be added to it... or I dont notice it didn't actually take and then I've got to find and try to add again.
I've had this issue through several updates and as a pretty maddening to stop everything to keep trying. Would love to know if theres a way to resolve this.

Just to make sure: you are dragging to an album, not to a smart album, right?

Yup, this happens with regular albums. Im on the verge of making smart albums based on keywords to replicate the albums, but I dont think it's as efficient in my workflow... and feels like a silly reason to do that extra work.

Does it make a difference using a pen or the mouse? I haven't noticed such an issue when using a mouse, but with v20, I use a tablet since then by coincidence, I noticed one or the other strange behavior sometimes. Haven't dragged much to an album since then because of this restoring from trash bug...

Yea I predominantly work with a Wacom and had the same thought. The release of a drag and drop can get sloppy, but I made sure to keep trying with a mouse– same problem. I also notice that multiple albums will be highlighted at times if I drag an image across my list of albums to the final destination.
