Viewing images in Trash

I have Capture One Pro 8. I have some images in Trash which I would like to view one last time before I empty the Trash (in case I want to retrieve one or two as I may have inadvertently trashed something I wanted to keep). However, when I select Trash (as I would an album etc) there are never any images to view. Is this correct or do I need to do something else to view the images? If I am able to view these items would I be able to retrieve the images anyway? Selecting other albums produce the images to view perfectly OK.

    It depends whether you have a session, a catalog with managed images, or a catalog with referenced images.

    Referenced images in a catalog are not moved to the trash collection. In case of the other two options, the trash folder (session) or trash collection (catalog, managed) is used.
