Data driven keywording?
Can C1P 9x keyword automatically by selection attributes from metadata e.g. file type or date or camera model etc.?

Not that I know of.
Closest workaround would be to create smart collection that filter on the EXIF attribute AND that don't have the corresponding keyword. So, the smart collection would show the images with that attribute but that are not yet tagged. You can then assign the proper keyword (if only C1 would offer keyboard shortcuts for keyboarding…)

It would, however, be a great feature for the Future. I've found that compared to Photomechanic's Keywording abilities, Capture one's keywording abilities are strongly lacking. I don't know if Photomechanic can do, what you seek, I don't think so, but will look into it. Perhaps their Keyword substitution could be made to work, where it reads exif data rather than the pre-created lists.
That would be a great feature request.0 -

Isn't that a duplication of what is already possible using Exif data?
If so what is the Use Case justification for the duplication?

In C1 you can search and filter by most, perhaps all - I have not checked in detail but there is a long list - EXIF/Metadata values.
If you export the Exif values with processed files they become available for other applications and search engines.
If you look at the Filters tool and click the 3 dots in the top right corner you should see a drop down menu where one of the selections is "Show/Hide filters". Click on that and have a look at the list of Metadata fields available.
You have the same kind of option using the Search facility "Advanced Search" mode.
If you are familiar with those options and think there are some requirements missing then a Support Case suggesting enhancements or improvements would be a great idea. There may well be some aspects of how the basic technical data is recorded (in camera for example) that does not make it especially easy to use when searching - but then a straight copy to a Keyword would probably offer the same challenge. (I suspect it would almost certainly create keyword clutter.)
You specifically mention file type, date and camera model.
All three are available in the metadata field list and that leaves me puzzled as to why I would want them in the Keywords as well. For most people they would clearly just create duplicated clutter if used as keywords in large numbers of files.
Just my opinion of course.
If you really do need the entries as keywords for some purpose there are some pretty fast ways to apply them when required.
