Lightroom friendly directory defaults?

I am a Lightroom user that also uses C1. My main issue is that I don't need or desire the 4 directories C1 loves and depends upon. I would love C1 to use the same directory (which is my shoot date, as imported by Lightroom), and use that folder for the outputs, selects, and the capture folder. After I create the new session and reset the capture folder to the root folder (the date), I need to delete the capture, selects, and output folder. Can this be set to do this by default?

    If I understand correctly, you'd like to use the single root folder (your date folder) for Capture, Selects, Trash and Output? This can't be done by default, not within the session workflow.

    I also have this question. Since it's not supported by Sessions, would a catalog work?

    I'd like this too. It's cumbersome to maintain 2 different folder structures for my work. When I use DxO, I can use the same working directory as Lightroom. It's very convenient.
