How to have latest shot appear large in Capture Pilot?

Im on a mac running capture pilot on Capture One 8.
Works perfectly fine when shooting tethered - but when I use the large image viewer it doesnt update to the latest shot.
I only get to see the latest shot when it is in the mode where all the images are visible.

I'm obviously doing something wrong- any help as to how to get the latest incoming shot to appear in the 'large' mode would be super appreciated!
